jwdesign specialise in interior design solutions across the retail, leisure and hospitality industries. Based in Honley, West Yorkshire, the practise was established by its founder Joan Webb in 2007. Renowned for her inventive use of space, materials and an eye for detail, Joan excels in achieving beautiful and genuine interior design outcomes across a broad range of projects.
Each interior design project is unique, with every stage managed to an exceptional standard – large or small. Clients are worked with closely – start to finish – from consultation and planning, right through to furniture installation and those last minute details, to provide the finest of outcomes and delivery of excellence.
The jwdesign service is completely bespoke and tailored to your requirements, whether this is part of a large scheme or smaller project. Options for our complete interior design service includes project management, beginning with initial consultation, mood boards/sample boards, survey, detailed plans and elevations, product sourcing, product/finishes schedules, specifications, and upon completion accessorising.
One of the most important stages in any interior design scheme is spatial planning. Following initial consultation and design meetings, we would take accurate measurements and photographs of your space and produce detailed CAD drawings and layout ideas. We will consider how a room works aesthetically and ergonomically, taking into account focal points as well as more practical considerations.
Our continual research into latest design trends has enabled us to build a diverse range of dedicated suppliers of furniture, soft furnishings, lighting, flooring, original artwork, wall finishes and accessories. As part of our service, we will recommend products and finishes as part of the proposed scheme, purchasing selected products on your behalf saving time and being cost effective.
Always passionate about interior design, I joined Leeds based architects where I spent a number of years on key commercial interior projects, including retail, healthcare and city offices spaces. It was here that I gained a sound understanding of building methods, project management, communication, product knowledge and a unique understanding of how to be sympathetic to Heritage sensitive projects if required.
After starting my own business, I’ve worked with some wonderful clients on some fantastic projects that have allowed me to truly express my creativity.
I love the creative process, combining luxurious materials and finishes with glamour and cool, whether it’s a boutique hotel, spa, wine bar, coffee shop, or restaurant.
Fill in the form or give us a call, we look forward to the challenge of solving your design problems.
